Gases and Climate Change

1. Combustion 

 Hypothesis: The rubbing alcohol will explode and catch on fire sending it backward.

  Observation: The bottle rocketed across the room with a tail of fire and a loud whoosh like an angry comet.

Such gases contribute to the climate change as well as laughing gas and methane.

2. CO2 gas 

 Hypothesis: It will explode, fizz and blow out

  Observation: It just puffed out with a whiff of smoke

Co2 put out the fire because there wasn't any O2 for the fire to consume. It also is the leading culprit in global warming. It is created by nearly everything we do- breathing, driving,decaying- but is reversed by plants.
3. Was eaten by gremlins. Will replace later, when I have more time. WHY DID YOU NOT SAVE??!!
4. Air pressure
  Hypothesis: It will explode like the time my chemistry teacher told us to put a frozen mason jar on a hot plate.
   Observation: Nothing happened.
  Hypothesis: It will go KaBOOM!!
  Observation: It imploded, with a pop. Meh.

Children of Chornobyl

The result of my article-reading foray to BBC is that low radiation can cause mutations just like high radiation can. Scientists discovered this when they found out that the children of Chornobyl's cleanup crew concieved after the cleanup had a 7 times higher rate of deformation.
